She's the "American Idol" finalist that belted out her idol's "The Climb" to much praise, and now Lauren Alaina will get some last minute guidance from the song's original artist Miley Cyrus when she makes an appearance on tonight's (April 27) show.
"Idol" sources dished the details to E!, revealing that the 18-year-old singer will join alongside Interscope's Jimmy Lovine to give the contestant the help she needs to take the top spot.
Jimmy recently came under fire by Miley fans when he told Alaina she was "a much stronger singer" than the pop phenom.
According to an insider, Lovine instantly regretted the remark and immediately invited the super-talented Cyrus to help out with this week's coaching duties.
